If you recognize the font from the samples posted here don't be shy and help a fellow designer. Thousands of designers (famous or not) use the image font detection system to find a font or similar free fonts from an image. Although we have the largest database of fonts, the search for a font from an image gets mixed results like the image above.
I've seen lots of font tutorials on YouTube before but most are terrible quality recording or don't get straight to the point. You can scroll this thread to see how I do it or watch the video at the bottom. So let's get stuck into it!!
Step 1:
Download the supercell font from the wiki located http://clashofclans.wikia.com/wiki/F...ic-webfont.ttf and install it.
Step 2:
Open up any version of photoshop and create a new document to your desired size
Step 3:
Create a new text layer and write out some text. Change the color of the text to #ffcc00

Step 4:
right click the text layer and click Blending Options. A new window will appear so let's change a few things.

Step 5:
Click on Stroke and set it to a value of 3. Click Drop Shadow and and change the blend mode to normal. The Angle to 120 and play with the 3 lower sliders until you get a small solid shadow. These values will be different depending on the font size. My font is set to 111pts so below is the settings I chose.

Step 6:
now the fun part. Click on Bevel & Emboss. Make the Style inner bevel, the Technique chisel hard, the Direction is up and move the slider for size to the right until you don't see any further change to the text.

Step 7:
There is no step 7! You're done! The great thing about doing it this way is that you can change your text without having to add all the styles again. Simple highlight the text with your text tool and type something new. You can always copy the layer but clicking ctrl+J and adding more text for multiple lines. Thanks for reading!
